The EyeWorld Surgical Summit 2018 has been designed to provide an intimate educational setting, where learners have extensive opportunities to interact with faculty, gaining clinical and surgical pearls they can immediately implement into practice.

The program incorporates adult-learning principles, focusing on real-world scenarios and removal of barriers to change through panel discussions, video case presentations, and extensive audience Q&A. Didactic presentations will be minimized and are followed by audience Q&A to ensure the learners are able to put information gained into the context of their practices.

The program features a combination of morning and evening sessions, allowing learners time off to rejuvenate, increasing focus and attention and avoiding mental fatigue.

The EyeWorld Surgical Summit will offer 15.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. As an adjunct to the formal CME sessions, the Summit will feature three one-hour non-CME industry spotlights to provide attendees an opportunity to learn more about specific devices and therapeutics. All non-CME sessions will be clearly communicated as such.

A preliminary program outline is provided for reference. Please note, session times are subject to change. However, the overall number of credits for the meeting will remain the same.
